The programme works closely with employers and non-governmental organisations based in Eastern Slovakia to offer various forms of informal education, mentoring and internships in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The programme, which was launched in 2014 and has trained <strong>77 participants <\/strong>to date, won the <a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/nas-program-itrampolina-pre-vsetkych-ziskal-narodnu-cenu-karieroveho-poradenstva\/\"><strong>National Career Counselling Award<\/strong><\/a> <strong>in<\/strong> 2018<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main target groups that our <em>Trampoline<\/em> gave a\u00a0jump start to on their way to better job opportunities were:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Young adults from Roma communities and from socially disadvantaged communities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>University graduates fresh out of school in the Ko\u0161ice and Pre\u0161ov regions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physically handicapped people<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In the period of years 2014 \u2013 2015, the programme was implemented with the support of the Active Citizenship and Inclusion programme administered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ekopolis.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ekopolis Foundation.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 2016, the programme was implemented with the support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/nadacne-fondy\/nadacny-fond-t-systems-slovakia\/\"><strong>T-Systems Slovakia Endowment Fund<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>administered by the Carpathian Foundation, and in the period of 2016 \u2013 2018, the programme implementation was supported by the <strong>Erasmus+ <\/strong><strong>programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a4f7fe5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"a4f7fe5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3074451 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3074451\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">ITrampol\u00edna pre v\u0161etk\u00fdch 2016 \u2013 2018 (ITrampoline 4 All 2016 - 2018)<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c0d3f6f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c0d3f6f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The most recent, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year of the programme, which lasted from 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0October,\u00a02016 until 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July,\u00a02018, focused on the topic of <strong>inclusion of physically handicapped people in the IT sector <\/strong>as an industry that lacks qualified workforce in Eastern Slovakia. This edition of the programme won the <a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/nas-program-itrampolina-pre-vsetkych-ziskal-narodnu-cenu-karieroveho-poradenstva\/\"><strong>National Career Counselling Award 2018<\/strong><\/a><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the scope of the programme, inclusion of people with disabilities was enhanced through an innovative model for the development of individual potential, helping them to integrate into the working environment in the IT sector. The model has been developed and implemented as part of a public-private partnership and an international exchange of experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project outputs<\/strong>: A\u00a0Development Centre model consisting of 2 tools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IT4ALL_dokument_VPAC_sk.pdf\">VPAC \u2013 Vocational Potential Assessment Centre<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IT4ALL_dokument_EDC_sk.pdf\">EDC \u2013 Elevator Development Centre (Centre for Development)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-878029f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"878029f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Vocational Potential Assessment Centre<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e720978 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e720978\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our pilot assessment centre is diversity sensitive. It uses a\u00a0set of evaluation methods and activities to assess participants in a\u00a0way which does not automatically see \u2018otherness\u2019 as a disadvantage. On the contrary, otherness and diversity are seen as qualities that are beneficial for the organisation. In the Development Centre, we define individual tailored goals for the participants so that they can fulfil the qualification requirements for specific positions. Participants\u2019 competences and talents are mapped and their individual development plans are defined. The Centre for Development offers 3 internal training programmes that take into account specific needs of employees with disabilities or disadvantages. In the pilot phase, the method was tested on candidates selected on the basis of their performance in the Assessment Centre.\u00a0Read interactive training, development and testing of outputs,<\/strong> short-term <strong>training activities<\/strong> for in-house lecturers from the IT companies involved, <strong>internships for disadvantaged participants in an IT company in Debrecen (HU)<\/strong> and a <strong>panel discussion entitled<\/strong> <strong><em>IT4All: Opportunity for Everyone<\/em><\/strong> which took place on 24 May, 2018 with the participation of programme participants, non-profit organizations, self-governmental authorities and IT companies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
