TGE currently allows for donations to be made to and from another country while benefitting from the tax advantages in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.transnationalgiving.eu\/country-profiles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Learn about tax advantages in TGE countries<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Slovak tax legislation does not give donors any tax advantages. However, as a\u00a0non-profit subject based in the Slovak Republic you can benefit from tax advantages available for donors in other countries thanks to TGE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Since 2017, donations through TGE network reached 70 mil \u20ac. <\/strong><strong>In 2017 the total amount donated was <\/strong><strong>10.6 mil \u20ac, <\/strong><strong>which is 65% more than the year before. <\/strong><strong>4,844 donors <\/strong>used TGE network &#8211; 91.5% were individual donors and 8.5% were corporate donors.\u00a0The highest number of donations came from Germany, Belgium and France. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1bdbc32 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1bdbc32\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>An organisation receiving financial donation from abroad contacts the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transnationalgiving.eu\/category\/partner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TGE partner in their country<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 in Slovakia, it is the Carpathian Foundation, at <a href=\"mailto:tge@karpatskanadacia.sk\">tge@karpatskanadacia.sk<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The organisation fills in the TGE <em>Grant Eligibility Application Form<\/em> (<strong>GEAF<\/strong>) and sends it back to the TGE national partner for approval together with some other documents.<\/li>\n<li>The local TGE partner checks eligibility of the organisation to receive a\u00a0donation from abroad. \u00a0Once a beneficiary is declared eligible, they will receive the practical details on how donors can make their donations in their country of residence.<\/li>\n<li>Donors will then be able to make a\u00a0donation by sending it to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transnationalgiving.eu\/category\/partner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TGE partner in their country.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>This partner will transfer the money to the beneficiary abroad and provide the donor with a\u00a0fiscal receipt deductible for national tax purpose.<\/li>\n<li>For each donation, TGE retains 5% as a\u00a0contribution to the TGE partner organisations and the network that facilitate the donation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4381648 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4381648\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What type of donors can use the TGE network?
