Therefore, we provide financial support to active people and organisations and we bring solutions that help to make the East a better place to live. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35d528c9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"35d528c9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<b>We provide financial support <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to active people and organisations through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/en\/our-solutions\/endowment-funds\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">endowment funds<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/granty\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">grant programmes<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0We promote local community initiatives, cooperation of individuals and organisations, non-formal and informal education and development of civil society. \u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We <\/span><b>explore <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the region, listen to its people and map its needs in order to be able to offer effective help.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>We are learning, we bring solutions and we disseminate them for the benefit of the region. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We <\/span><b>link<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> active people and give them the chance to implement their initiatives, we mobilize those with experience who are willing to lend a\u00a0helping hand, and we facilitate partnerships to maximize our help.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the beginning of our operations, we have created and implemented a\u00a0vast variety of our own programmes and projects mainly in the following areas:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Non-formal and informal education with special focus on young people;<\/b><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Building of a strong and active civil society<\/b><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Cross-border cooperation, especially with Ukraine.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have formed <\/span><b>unique partnerships with foreign organisations, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">learnt from them and <\/span><b>brought innovative solutions to local problems in the region of Eastern Slovakia. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, we are sharing our experience and expertise with other Slovak regions as well as with other neighbouring countries in order to <\/span><b>strengthen the position of Eastern Slovakia and build its profile as a\u00a0social innovator and leader in the field of sustainability.<\/b>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef58a80 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"ef58a80\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-11973d2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"11973d2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Our Programmes and Projects<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b0f8f9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b0f8f9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the moment, we are implementing the following programmes in the field of non-formal and informal education:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/nase-riesenia\/mymachine-slovakia\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MyMachine Slovakia Programme<\/span><\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a title=\"UPre Women Programme\" href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/en\/upre-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UPre Women Programme<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karpatskanadacia.sk\/en\/our-solutions\/lets-wake-up-the-sleeping-valleys\/\">Let Us Wake Up the Sleeping Valleys Programme<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In recent years, we have implemented projects aimed at youth engagement in regional development and cross-border cooperation matters.
