Conditions and criteria

Support Criteria

The programme supports volunteering, non-profit and publicly beneficial projects with provable long-term impact on communities in the Košice region.

The proposed projects should be sustainable and they should follow already existing activities and their outcomes. Applicants can propose new activities, too, provided they meet the sustainability condition.

Local issues and topics are best addressed in cooperation and in partnerships. With that in mind, projects involving at least two partner organizations from different sectors (non-governmental organizations, schools, self-governments) will be given preference.

The maximum grant amount is €5,000 per project.

The supported projects can start to be implemented on 25 March 2019 at the earliest and they have to be completed by 31 October 2019 at the latest.

Co-financing amounting to the minimum of 10% of the total project budget is required in each of the supported projects. Own financial input from the applicant or from the project partner is required, too.

Own non-financial inputs into the projects (voluntary work, borrowed machines usage, material donations, etc.) are welcome. However, such non-financial inputs cannot replace the project co-financing obligation amounting to the minimum of 10% of the total project budget. Staff remuneration for working on the project must not exceed 20% of the overall project budget.

Involvement of employees of GETRAG FORD Transmissions Slovakia, s.r.o., a member of the MAGNA group, is an advantage.
