Help to Ukraine

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine (February 24, 2022), 4.7 million refugees from Ukraine have received temporary protection in the EU. More than 100,000 residents from Ukraine applied for temporary protection in Slovakia. It was mostly women, children, and elderly people who were forced to leave the country and find temporary or permanent refuge here. Their cities, streets, and houses were destroyed and they had nowhere to return. Many lost not only their homes but also family members.
