Successful Projects from the Magna pre región Grant Call

In early January, we launched the grant call for the Magna pre región program, which attracted 22 applicants with projects aimed at breaking down prejudices, strengthening inclusion, and involving disadvantaged groups in community life. A total of nine organizations received grant support.

Eligible applicants included non-governmental non-profit organizations, municipalities, and secondary schools based in the Košice Region. A professional committee evaluated the quality of all applications and, based on a scoring system, awarded grants to the following nine projects:

  1. Maják nádeje, o. z. (Košice) – Creative Inclusion
  2. BotaniKE, o. z. (Košice) – Botanical Garden for Everyone
  3. Autistické centrum Rubikon, n. o. (Košice) – A Better Tomorrow Even with Autism
  4. okolo (Košice) – Spin It Yourself
  5. Brezinočka o. z. Prakovce – Bridges Through Dance
  6. Materské centrum Pastierik (Košice) – Shared Living Room – An Inclusive Space for Families
  7. BIIIF (Košice) – Open Gallery 2025
  8. BELION, o. z. (Košice – mestská časť Krásna) – “Unforgotten Neighbors in Krásna”
  9. Spletinia, o. z. (Košice) – The First Ukrainian Sunday School in Eastern Slovakia “UKRAINIAN STUDIES” – Trainings and Preparation for the End-of-Year Event 2024/25
