The Carpathian Foundation opens the 10th Call of the Carpathian hiking fund ‘MÁME RADI VÝCHOD’, which aims to support active people from eastern Slovakia and their good ideas. In this call, we focus on healthy lifestyles and meaningful spending of their leisure time.
On Saturday, September 21st, 2019, the Carpathian Foundation organised the tenth year of the Carpathian Hiking. The route along the ridge of the Volovec Mountains, which is 50 km long, tested the strength and condition of 92 tourists, who also donated EUR 9128 to the Fund of the Carpathian Hiking.
In addition to the hiking itself, the participants were also involved in cleaning the surroundings of last year’s hiking. For the collected waste, Potraviny Fresh paid EUR 500 to the Carpathian Hiking Fund.
A great thanks to courageous participants and donors who contributed to the Fund in 2019.
The Call of the programme aims to support projects in our region that will contribute to:
- healthy lifestyle and sports
- meeting people and active spending of leisure time
- the development of non-commercial culture and creativity
Who can apply
Civil associations, non-profit organisations, foundations, and non-investment funds from Prešov and Košice regions can apply for financial support.
The maximum grant for the project is EUR 3 000, with a total redistribution of EUR 9750 by the Fund.
The proposed projects must be implemented between July 1st and December 31st, 2020.
Are you a beginner when it comes to asking for financial support?
Don‘t worry if you’re planning to submit your first project because applicants who have not received any grant for the last 3 calendar years from the Carpathian Foundation will benefit from an advantage when assessing the project application.
The Call is open from 2 March to 19 April 2020.
