Adriana studied for her bachelor’s degree at the University of Economics in Bratislava, and subsequently pursued a master’s degree at Aarhus University in Denmark.
After returning from Denmark, she applied to the Teach for Slovakia program and taught children from the marginalized Roma community in Huncovce for two years.
She then began working as a mentor for Way Out (Cesta von).
The training she received through Teach For Slovakia and Way out, as well as her field work helped her to understand the current situation of the Roma people in Slovakia and its historical causes. This led her to work for the Carpathian Foundation, where she manages the Roma Community Development Programme. Additionally, she leads the educational programme Internet Heroes (Hrdinovia internetu), which helps educators address the topic of digital security and citizenship in primary schools.
