Together for Children is a grant programme created and launched by the Carpathian Foundation in partnership with UNICEF to help ensure equal and inclusive access to care and education, especially for children fleeing the war in Ukraine, as well as for other children in need. We will reallocate €1,090,000 to participating projects from all across Slovakia during 2023. Key to this programme is building partnerships between local governments and experts from different fields to implement systemic and sustainable change.

We like the East

The MÁME RADI VÝCHOD (We Love the East) programme is financed from the Karpatská vandrovka (Carpathian Wander) Fund and it supports projects that improve the quality of life in Eastern Slovakia. The programme aims to support active Easterners and their ideas and projects helping to make lifestyle in our region healthier, improve sports opportunities, bring people together and make them spend their spare time actively, and build non-commercial culture in Eastern Slovakia in general. Karpatská vandrovka (Carpathian Wander) is a sponsored hike for spirited long-distance hikers designed to raise funds for the support of projects aiming to improve the quality of life in Eastern Slovakia.

We love Ukraine

Máme radi Ukrajinu
We will support organizations and local governments in eastern Slovakia in providing assistance to people from Ukraine who are fleeing the war to Slovakia. The assistance provided must be of a humanitarian or development nature, and thus a rapid response to a the need caused by an emergency stuation.

Magna pre región

magna pre region
The motto of Magna pre región (Magna for the Region) programme is “Taking care of oneself is not selfish, it is responsible.” The programme will redistribute €45,000 for innovative projects implemented by non-governmental organizations and active self-governmental authorities. Projects in one of the pre-defined areas offering innovative solutions to local needs, which are capable of inspiring or motivating other organizations and communities in the region will be supported in the scope of the programme.
